Review: ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick (Bali Bound), 21634

Hey guys. Today I have a review on the ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in "Bali Bound", 21634. This retails for $2, and I found mine at K-Mart! You can only find these specific products at eyeslipsface.com and K-Mart, as it is pretty new! Target also has a limited selection of ELF, but not these eyeshadows yet! On to the review!

This is what it looks like in stores and the packaging.

Bali Bound, 21634 - Dark forest green with shimmer.

Here's the packaging. It's a lot chubbier than I expected! I like how the tip of these, the part you twist up since it's a twisty pencil , is the shade of the pencil. Make's it a lot more convenient when looking for a particular shade! This product doesn't fully retract, but it goes down a bit more. You honestly don't get a lot of product, probably only down to where the ELF starts on the packaging. :(

This shade is not that great. On the left is one swipe of the product, and the right is three swipes. I had to use 5 layers to get a medium green color. Not cool. This particular color didn't blend, so I didn't even bother with a picture as it would of been the exact same picture. This didn't crease by itself, but it did fade a bit around 8 hours. With a powder eyeshadow on top, I experienced no creasing or fading.

That's my review! Hope you guys enjoyed.

Review: ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow stick: Rock Out, 21633

Hey guys. Today I have a review on the ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in "Rock Out", 21633. This retails for $2, and I found mine at K-Mart! You can only find these specific products at eyeslipsface.com and K-Mart, as it is pretty new! Target also has a limited selection of ELF, but not these eyeshadows yet! On to the review!

Here it is, so you know what to look for! It's still in it's plastic and cardboard packaging..

Shade- Rock Out, which is a cool olive green with strong gold tones and much what looks to be... glitter!

Here's the packaging. It's a lot chubbier than I expected! I like how the tip of these, the part you twist up since it's a twisty pencil *YAY!!*, is the shade of the pencil. Make's it a lot more convenient when looking for a particular shade! This product doesn't fully retract, but it goes down a bit more. You honestly don't get a lot of product, probably only down to where the ELF starts on the packaging. :(

Here's a swatch. The left swatch is one swipe and the right is two swipes. This isn't very pigmented. The shade is a golden olive with a strong sheen, no actual glitter make's it on to your eye or in this case, the swatch.

When it's blended, most of the olive is gone. It's more of a golden with very slight army green tones, and the sheen goes away a bit.'

These aren't super pigmented (I've tried more, watch for reviews) but they give that sheer wash of color I've been looking for in bases. They aren't very creamy. You know how lipsticks in... stick form are creamy, and then jumbo lip pencils are just kind of... drier? That's how these are. These blend easily, though, and they are pretty thin. They stay on by themselves, with one layer, all day. They fade just a tiny bit and don't crease. With a shadow on top, these don't fade, crease, or smudge.

These are very nice eyeshadows, and I'll probably pick up some more shades. That's my review! If you'd like to know anything else, please comment down below! Thanks :D

Review: Benefit Stay Don't Stray primer

Hey everyone! This is a review on the Benefit Stay Don't Stray. This retails for $26.00 where ever you can find Benefit products. It comes in 1 shade. On to the review!

I seriously appriciate the fact that Benefit tried to do something else with their primer packaging... It's not super awesome, though. The pump *no pic, sorry!* will get clogged up if you don't wipe it off after you use this product. This is easy to store, but it's a bit chunky. Not too bad!

This is the product. Sorry for the glitter particles on my hand,  I took tons of pictures that day and we had some glittery products! ;). Anyways, since this is a primer for concealer and eye shadow, it's tinted. I could see people using this as a concealer as it's opaque and very creamy! It's a beige color with yellow undertones, so it's possible!

After it's blended, it dries fast and is matte. It has great coverage, hides a bit of my dark circles and veins on my eye.

This product, I found, made my concealer, Neutrogena 3-in-1 Undereye Concealer, go on a lot smoother. It never creases, so I can't tell you if it honestly helps with that! It does help my concealer last longer, too! It extends it's wearing time by an hour or so.

For eyes, this product will make cream bases a bit cakey. If you want to use something like a MAC paint pot or Maybelline Color Tattoos over this, I wouldn't This is a thick primer, but if you do use a cream eyeshadow or base over this, it won't crease or anything, but man is it cakey!

When I would use this just with a powder eyeshadow, usually Urban Decay, The Balm, or L'Oreal, it would help it not fade or crease through out the day. With Urban Decay, I have fall-out problems. This helped with that A LOT! With The Balm, I have fading issues. This helped it stay on a ton! I love using Matt Batali from the Meet Matt(e) Palette, but it always fades after 5 hours or so! With this primer, it stayed on for 10 hours! With L'Oreal shadows, they crease a tiny bit. This helped prevent creasing!

This is just an awesome primer, you guys. Try it, it's a life changer. Holy grail.

That's my review you guys! Hope you enjoyed, if you have any further questions, comment down below!

Thanks guys!

Review: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Hey everyone! Today I have a review on the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream. Mine was $6 at Target. You can find this where ever Maybelline is sold. This comes in 5 shades. On to the review!

This is the packaging. It looks very tacky with the stupid ombre and bright pink writing. It's in a squeezy tube which is nice, better than pouring it out, but I'm pretty sure everyone prefers a pump.

This claims to enhance by..
  1. Blur imperfections; Does it? No
  2. Enhance. Does it? No
  3. Brighten; Does it? Yes, I was a big oil blob. I was very bright and shiny
  4. Adjusts to skin-tone; Does it? No
  5. Smoothes; Does it? Sort of. Not really
  6. Hydrate; Does it? Yes. I was an oil pit
  7. SPF 30 protects; Does it? I'm guessing it does.
  8. 0% oils and other heavy ingredients; Does it? This felt really heavy on, so no.

Here's a swatch of the product. It's very pink toned, but still shows to be a bit orange.

After blending, something went wrong. This felt super heavy and oily. But, it gave terrible coverage. It covered nothing, no redness, freckles, blemishes. Nothing.

Crest toothpaste in the backround! Anyways, as I blended this in to my face (talking about experiences with face, not hand) I looked like a pink-toned oompa loompa. I was gleaming, in a bad way. This is SUPER oily and gross. For no coverage, no thanks. I have DRY SKIN and I got oily skin with this. Great job, Maybelline.

This stayed on for about 2 hours because it was literally running off my skin in my 68-70 degree house. This crap is terrible.

That's my review! If you'd like to know anything else, comment down below! Thanks guys!

Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo "Inked In Pink" 55

Hey guys! Today I have a review on the new Maybelline color tattoo in Inked in Pink. I got this for 6.99, and you can get these wherever you can find Maybelline. I got mine at Kmart. On to the review!

The packaging is OK. It's just a pot, with a see through bottom with silver text, and a black lid with the name and color. I hate storing this upside down, because my similar shades look the same (duh) and I can't see the color.

This should be the top of the product. It'd make a lot more sense!

In the pot, before using it, it had a weird film on top. You can see it in the picture a bit. It makes it look like a dark, almost purple shade. But, it was just to make it look more metallic. When you use or swatch this for the first time, there was no difference as I have used this product quite a few times.

This is a beautiful metallic, frosty-ish pink. It's a medium-light shade. I'd almost describe this as an antique pink. This shade in particular is very creamy. It blending ability isn't exactly easy, though. It's a bit patchy since its metallic, but nothing that requires extra focus on. You can layer the product, though, if its that big of a deal.

The wearing power on this without a shadow is awesome. It doesn't crease, but after 12 hours, if I did one layer, the color starts to fade a bit. With a shadow, though, I have no creasing or fading. With or without a shadow, this product doesn't smudge or smear.

That's my review! If you'd like to know anything else, let me know in the comments! Thanks guys!

Review: Urban Decay Glide On Cheek Tint (Indecent)

Hey guys! Today I have a review on the Urban Decay Glide- On Cheek Tint! This retails for $24, and you can find it where ever Urban Decay is sold. This come's in multiple shades, but the one I am reviewing is Indecent

The packaging is a bit tacky. The top is some weird, clear purple tinted plastic with.. a snake on it? I don't even know. It's cheap and easy to break. The bottom is light purple with the label. I hate this packaging.

Here's my shade- Indecent.

This has a mirror, but it's in an awkward position for me.  It's a nice mirror, though.

This shade is a light, shimmery peach orange. It could also be classified as an apricot shade. It's an alright shade, but it DISAPPEARS INTO MY SKIN. My mom tried it, who is as light as... I don't know, snow?!  Still doesn't show up. This crap also turns orange. A cream product that oxidizes? I don't get it, but this sucks. It's waaay sheer, and it's thick and hard to blend. It also fades and wears off fast.

I get that this is a sheer product that you "build" up, but this is way too sheer even after several applications! They are so hard to work with and very messy! This has a super weird consistency that make's it hard to blend. It's like rock hard ice cream, but it's thick and gross. I can feel the sparkle chunks in this! This made my normal skin oily and shiny as well... Good thing I didn't break out! Ugh, this was a big, fat FAIL.

I guess you could use this on your lips, but it's soo drying.

Here's after I blended this. As you can see, it doesn't really blend, and it's still a big orange blob. Yay Urban Decay.

That's my review! I hate this product, and I hope you don't buy this! Good thing I got a good deal on this.. Ugh. If you have any further questions, please comment down below! Thanks guys..

Review: L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow (Golden Emerald)

Hey everyone. Today I have a review on the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Golden Emerald, 335.  This was $5.99 at Wal-Mart. These have been around a while, but my area hasn't had them in until a few weeks ago! You can find this at drugstores and mass retailers (Target, Wal-Mart, etc)

Review: Benefit That Gal Face Primer

Hey guys. Today I have a review on the Benefit "That Gal" brightening face primer. This retails for $29 wherever Benefit products are sold. (I have a mini of this product, btw.) On to the review!

Here's the packaging. The full sized is different from the mini, so I'm not going to go into packaging that much. The full sized is a cylinder shaped tube that you twist the bottom and product squirts up at the top. Mine is a tube you squeeze out, which I prefer. The label is pink, yellow, and white. Reminds me of Easter! :P

The primer is a light pink shade, and is supposed to brighten your skin. The texture reminds me of... a liquid-y toothpaste. It's really weird! This didn't do anything to even out my skin's texture, and I didn't notice my skin being any brighter. There isn't any shimmer/glitter in this product, so maybe it was just designed to brighten since it's a light pink tint? Overall, this did nothing for me. It looked strange because I have an olive skin tone, and pink does not look very good on me! It made my skin look uneven and weird as well. I wasn't very impressed with this product..

Here it is after it's blended in. As you can see, I have a weird pink tint on my hand and it looks strange. It has no glitter or anything...

That's my review! If you have any further questions, please comment down below! Thanks guys! :)

Hey guys. I have the flu, so I won't be able to post a lot. I have some pre-made posts that I will publish soon, but for the next few days, there's going to be a lack of posts! Sorry guys! :( Also, what new products or old(er) products would you like me to review? Thanks for understanding btw!

Review: L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow; Endless Sea

Hey guys! Today I have a review on the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow. I got mine for $5.99 at Wal-Mart. These have been around for a while, but I couldn't find them since my area didn't have them ANYWHERE! You can find these at drugstores, mass retailers, etc. BTW, my shade is in Endless Sea! :) On to the review!

This lid is kind of weird. It's round, and the base of the product is square. It's kind of awkward for storing, but it's not too bad. The packaging is all right..

Here's the other side. Again, why a circle on a square? This really confuses me, no joke! Haha. I like how it's reflective (the circle), but it doesn't blind you!

Here is the eyeshadow in the pot. It's a shimmery, satin eyeshadow that is a medium blue. It's a bit darker than a sky blue in the pot.

Here's a swatch! As you can see, this is a pretty sky blue when swatched. But, this is incredibly sheer. This was 3 layers, and it's still a bit patchy. It has no glitter, but it's pretty shimmery. The consistency of this is a creamy powder. It feels a bit cool, but I feel that the cream is the reason this is a bit sheer.

When this is blended out, it is sooo sheer. When it's blended, it's a light cotton candy-ish (the blue kind, obviously! haha) blue. Most of the shimmer and sheen goes away when it's blended out.

I've found that this product doesn't crease, but it does fade a bit, which sucks because it's already so sheer. This has no fall-out, and it doesn't smear or smudge.

That's my review! If you'd like to know anything else, comment down below! Thanks guys!!

Review: Benefit Erase Paste (medium)

Hey everyone! Today I have a review on the Benefit Erase Paste. This retails for $26, and you can find it where ever you can find Benefit and where it is sold.

I have a mini of this, so my packaging is a bit difference. I love the packaging of this! The full size is a light purple instead of black. But, the black is cute, too! It has a label with circles/dots and the product name. The lid unscrews and voila! Your product awaits. Then, the bottom is clear so you can see the shade.

This come's in 3 shades. Fair, Medium, and Deep. I have No. 2, or Medium.

Here's the product. Man, the lighting looked way better on my viewfinder! Sorry guys! Anyways, this product looks scary if you've never seen it before and just dropped the money on it. It looks ORANGE, but it's actually salmon colored to help conceal dark circles, which is the main use for this product. If it bothers you, because it is salmon toned after you apply, you can take the risk of creasing or sinking into fine lines and apply a lighter, more your skin color concealer.

Here's a swatch. This is pretty orange. It is SUPER thick, and creamy. You only need a little bit. This swatch here could cover my whole... nose! Haha! Anyways, it blends easily, even though it's pretty thick. It gives full coverage and doesn't crease or sink into my fine lines, but I'm pretty young so I don't have fine lines!

As you can see, it's not very orange or salmon after you blend it in, and my skin is beige with strong yellow and olive undertones. It does appear slightly orange, but after it sinks into your skin a bit (a good thing, so it won't appear cakey) that goes away quickly. This product doesn't wear off, smudge, crease, or settle, basically. It's quite nice, and you only need a teeny tiny dab! The price tag is well worth it!

That's my review! If you'd like to know anything else, comment down below! Thanks guys! :)
