Hey guys. Today I have a review on the Pur Minerals pressed eye shadow in Gold Marcasite. You can find this at select Dillards, and online at purminerals.com. This retails for $14. BTW, my camera charger broke and I can't get a new one for a while so these pictures were taken with my iPad's crappy camera! :( On to the review...
This is the packaging. It's similar to a MAC eyeshadow, but silver. This is high quality plastic, and there's a see-through window to see the shadow.
On the bottom of the shadow is a ledge that you can open, and it reveals a mirror and a sponge applicator, but I lost the applicator. I think it's cool how they included this, but the mirror is very tiny so it doesn't help a lot.
Here's the shadow. This shade is a true, shimmery gold. This is VERY smooth and buttery. It's also very pigmented. This stays on without a primer for 8-9 hours and doesn't fade. With a primer, it stays on all day and still doesn't fade. This blends easily without fading as well, and I have never had fall-out with this shadow. These also hold a 4.87 out of 5 stars on the website! I love these shadows so much.
Here is one swipe of the eyeshadow. So pigmented and easy to blend! It's shimmery, no chunks of glitter or metallic-y reflection. Such a beautiful gold color!
Here is after it's blended. It is still a true gold shade, and it blends very easily. It keeps the shimmer after you blend this, too!
These also have great ingredients, or lack of bad ones rather. The Mineral Eyeshadows are free of petroleum-based oils, alcohol, talc, fillers, fragrances, preservatives and chemical dyes. They also have no parabens! :)
That's my review. Hope you guys enjoyed, and if you have any further questions, comment down below! Thanks guys!
