Hey guys! Woah, I have been reviewing A LOT of Maybelline products lately! Sorry guys! Covergirl, Maybelline, L'Oreal, and Revlon have been coming out with a lot of new products lately, but I don't use Covergirl, and Revlon is mostly face products and I hardly wear those! Stay tuned for some L'Oreal, though! ;)
Anyways, this is a review on the Maybelline MasterDuo 2-1 liquid liner. My shade is in Polished Green. I got mine at Target for $6.99 on an end cap. There are 4 shades, I think, in this line. On to ze' review!
Here's the product in packaging. By the way, people have been wondering what the bottom right hand corner is supposed to mean. I think it's showing the thick line and the thin line this product can create.
Urrgg. I hate when liquid liners are packaged like this! It make's it hard to store, but otherwise it's fine. It's a sleek, shiny black plastic bottle that is sort of triangular. The name of the product isn't on a label, it's printed onto the plastic.
This is the applicator! It may look scary, but don't worry. It's also a little tricky to use at first! The ball on the tip is to create a thick, dramatic line while the wand is to create a normal, thin line. It's not a firm applicator, it's very flexible, which I both dislike and like. I like when it's firm because it's easier to just swipe along your eye, and with it being flexible it can form to your eye shape!
Here's a product swatch. The left is using the wand, and the right is using the ball. Honestly, there's not much of a difference. This is a VERY water-y formula. It took 3- 3 1/2 minutes to dry just on my hand. The shade is a very strange type of green. Sort of an army green, with olive undertones. When it dried, it was matte and did not budge. The formula is ehhh.
Lol, this product is really hard to remove. This is after 5 swipes of my Epielle Green Tea wipes. As you can see, it didn't want to come off! That's a good thing, for throughout the day, but may be a bad thing when your makeup doesn't want to come off! I didn't have to scrub at my hand/eye, but I had to push a little harder!
Thats my review! If you'd like to know anything else, please comment down below. Thanks!
